we can remember our grandmas wearing corsages, and though it is unlikely that anyone would wear this pinned to a dress, they are highly collectible and a treasure when found.
this is a very old example: set upon foil silver leaves, tin reflectors have hot pink mercury glass ball centers and tiny mercury glass bead clusters. the ribbon is made of metallic silver thread. it is has a warm and rich patina from age. all beads are present and intact except for one of the tiny beads which has been broken.
tied to a package, for the lover of vintage, this is a gift in itself. |
