beautiful and intricate piece of beadwork in colors of pale green, apricot, white and silver. generous use of aurora borealis beads throughout gives this a luminous quality that picks up the color around it.
backed in white velvet with hook and eye closures, we believe this was a belt to a dress, probably made in hong kong in the 1960s. what a dazzling outfit that must have been!
this piece is beautiful as part of a christmas display because of its sparkle, shine and pastel colors. it would be fabulous as a garland on a little tree.
you could even wear it as a belt!
