we are always looking to find kitchen linens from the 1930s through 50s, and so we were quite excited to run across two of these recently at market.
this towel and the companion towel in colors of blue is in pristine condition; although they do not bear the original tags, they appeared to have never been used; they have no stains or areas of wear. we did give them a good soak and laundering, just to remove sixty years of accumulated dust from laying in a drawer!
towel is very large at 15 1/2 inches wide by 28 inches long.
towel is single sided , but does have the pattern at both ends.
a great addition to a collection of vintage kitchen linens~
