we are quite fond of all the gold filigree vanity items from the 1960s; we frequently find perfume trays, tissue boxes, hairspray and lipstick holders. but we have never seen a jewelry box with the mirror top like this one.
reticulated gold box has nice details and sits on little feet.
we have used a piece of vintage wallpaper to cover over the velvet lining which was in poor shape.
