we buy things that we love and remember from our childhoods of the 1950s. we are drawn to what makes our hearts skip a little beat...things that make us remember, with fondness and gratitude, the households of our great-grandmother, grandmothers and mom.
we have an emotional connection to the things we collect and buy. we don't mind things that tell us a story through their tiny imperfections.
after all, if we wanted things that were shiny-new and perfect, we wouldn't be lovers of vintage.

our midwest farmhouse shop has aprons, handcrafted kitchen linens, kitchenware and things that are evocative of sunday dinner at grandmother's. if you go for more of the funk and quirkiness of the 1950s and 60s (think beatniks. or flower-children) be sure to visit our loft.
